A look behind the scenes at a Kque fashion show

Kque-fashion-show

Ever wondered what it takes to pull off a star-studdedhigh end fashion show?

Kque officially launched last month with a VIP event on the Gold Coast, and guests lined the red carpet (a human red carpet, no less)outside Matt Hollywood’s famous theatre where they sipped champagne and enjoyed gourmet food before the entertainment kicked off.

A polished and energetic dance show from the Gold Coast’s Movieworld Dance Crew and a fashion parade showcasing the full Kque collection made for a spectacular and entertaining evening.

An event of this scale took months of planning and expertise from a wide-range of suppliers including event planners, models, dancers, hair and makeup artists, lighting specialists, DJs, catering and waitstaff, photographers, videographers, security– the list goes on!

The team at Kque worked tirelessly to pull everything together, as well as arranging the most crucial element of the show; the runway looks for each model.

Fast-forward to the day of the show, and setup begins bright and early with party hire dropping off catering equipment. Next up is the DJ and lighting specialist to setup, followed by the event planners. Models, dancers and videographers are next to arrive and do an all-important practice run.

Hair and makeup are next, followed by a full run through of the show. Once the bar and food are setup it’s time for the VIP guests to make their arrival …

Here’s a sneak peek at some of our favourite behind-the-scenes shots from the day.
